A couple of weeks ago Ian and I shot Ellie & Marks wedding at The Harte and Garter in Windsor. The wedding was so beautiful I will post this in two parts just so I can share as many photos with you as possible!
The rooms in the Harte and Garter are stunning and make the perfect backdrop to getting ready shots
Ellie's step mum created her stunning bouquet and her bridesmaids too. After a trip to Covent Garden Flower Market
Ellie's brother played the piano beautifully, as she made an entrance with her father.
The ceremony room in the Harte and Garter overlooks the castle.
Mark waited patiently
We all wandered down to the iconic Long Walk in front of Windsor Castle
During the drinks reception her lovely bridesmaids took polaroid shots of their guests to add to a Wishing tree. More to follow...

WOW! The amazing week continues... today the lovely Peonies & Pearls blogger Adele (who is also a personal friend of mine). Did a blog about my work too! Adele blogs about all things Wedding. She even has DIY tips, it's super cute so make sure you take a look!
Thank you xxx
Sometimes when you take a walk you find the most amazing things. Before last weekends shoot I did a recce and found a totem pole in a park across the road from where we were shooting.
How stunning is she? More to come...

This week has been mental busy, Tuesday Rock n Roll Bride did a blog post about a recent Love your dress shoot (click here). Then on Wednesday the lovely Alexis at OMG IM GETTING MARRIED wrote a lovely piece about me, my wedding photography and Art direction at WEDDING, I was so flattered(click here)
Yesterday the amazing girls at Rock my Wedding published their interview with me, with a great EXCLUSIVE offer from me too. (click here)
To top it all off... I then made the top 100 WEDDING tweeters (which is AMAZING) and a complete surprise to say the least!
Next week I hope I can top all of that again. Thank you to all the amazing wedding bloggers talking about me

I'm very proud to be a sponsor of the lovely Alexis at OMG IM GETTING MARRIED. She has lovely posts and the BEST logo! Today she wrote a little post about me and selected some of my work to share with her readers... and it was lovely. I am really touched
To see the whole blog get over to her site... but I had the share what she wrote:
OMG a massive thank you to the lovely lady behind Modern Photographic for being our newest sponsor! I had the pleasure of meeting Julia Ford at the Rockn’ Roll Bride party last month for a brief chat and am now delighted to introduce her as the newest OMG WE LOVE YOU sponsor!
Not only is Julia a fab wedding photographer with an international celebrity photographer for a husband who has shot the likes of Brad & Angelina (!!!!) but she is also an art director at Wedding Magazine! Talk about a double whammy of fabulousness and workload, I’m not sure how she manages to fit it all in. Needless to say, this means she knows her stuff about how to manage your big day. Julia’s experience in the wedding industry means she can not only see what makes a great photo, but can also really offer brides some good advice if they’re looking for some, which really makes a difference. You definitely want your photographer to make you feel comfortable and know what they’re talking about.
A bit more about what Modern Photographic offers: Julia and Ian have a variety of packages for brides and grooms to choose from, each with their own download gallery so that guests can print their favourites as well. The couple is given a high resolution CD to keep plus the option to combine their big day with an engagement or “love your dress” shoot too. They are also super flexible if you’re on a tighter budget and want just a few hours of coverage.LINK TO THE POST
